CALCULATION NOTES

How the calculation works

1. Contribution per order

Order value minus product cost, average card fees and organizer commission. This is what each order contributes toward the event.

2. Cover the weekend

Divide booth fees, other event costs and your target event pay by contribution per order. Round up to the next whole order.

3. Check the assumptions

Use an average basket if customers buy several items. Unsold reusable stock stays inventory; add expected spoilage or write-offs to event costs.

What's included, and what's left out?

This calculator estimates one event in one currency. It assumes a stable average order value, product cost and payment mix. Amounts should exclude sales tax you collect for authorities. Income tax, wider business overhead and financing costs are not calculated automatically. Add relevant event costs yourself. Results depend on your estimates and do not predict turnout or sales.

Does the calculator save or send my numbers?

No. Calculations run in your browser. Entries are not uploaded or saved by this calculator and reset when you reload. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses. Printing is handled by your browser. There are no analytics trackers or advertising cookies added by this site.
